1. Who We Are

Universe Club is operated by Universe Club L.L.C-FZ, a company registered in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, U.A.E. This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use our platform at platform.universeclub.ai.

Universe Club is designed as a private, trust-first environment. Your data is never visible to other members without your explicit consent. Universe Club is not a public social network — your presence, profile, and interactions remain private and are controlled by you at all times.

2. What We Collect

• Account info: name, email, password
• Profile info: bio, occupation, photo, phone number, social links
• Questionnaire answers: used for matchmaking
• Messages: conversations with the AI assistant and other users
• LinkedIn data: if you connect your account or consent to profile enrichment — used solely to improve the quality of your match recommendations
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser info

If a workspace manager imports your contact details, we use your name and email to send an invitation. If you don't register within 90 days, we delete that data.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Run and improve the platform
• Generate AI-powered match recommendations
• With your consent, analyse AI assistant conversations to better understand your needs and improve matches
• Send emails (invitations, notifications, password resets)
• Provide customer support — our team does not access private messages between members except when you request help or we are required to by law
• Understand how the platform is used (analytics)

4. AI Processing

We use AI to power matchmaking and our assistant. Your profile and (with consent) your conversations are processed by AI to suggest relevant connections. AI outputs are suggestions, not guarantees — they may be inaccurate. Your data is not used to train third-party AI models; AI service providers are contractually prohibited from using it for any purpose beyond delivering the platform.

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform:

• Cloud hosting and database providers
• AI service providers (for matchmaking and the assistant)
• Email delivery services
• Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity)
• Customer support tools (Intercom)

All providers are bound by data processing agreements. Some providers are based in the United States — we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any cross-border transfers.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for any processing at any time
• Object to or opt out of automated decisions (such as match recommendations) at any time
• Request your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@universeclub.ai. We'll respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days (backups may take up to 90 days to fully purge). Analytics data expires automatically. Imported contact data for non-registered users is deleted after 90 days.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and optional cookies for analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and customer support (Intercom). When you first visit our site, you will be presented with a cookie banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can also manage cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.

9. Security

We protect your data with encryption, access controls, and security policies. No system is 100% secure — if you find a vulnerability, please report it to security@universeclub.ai.

10. Children

The Service is for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For significant changes, we'll notify you at least 15 days in advance.
